Well, five mixes down last week and a great acoustic show this past Saturday night at Puck in Doylestown. Thank you to all you guys who came out, and we'll be posting some video and audio of that performance to our YouTube Channel soon.

We have a show in Westville, NJ this Thursday night - April 12th - at Hot Shots at 11 pm. One more show to round out the week this coming Saturday night, April 14th at Deweybeach Popfest at midnight on the outside beach stage of The Rusty Rudder. Mixing continues after that, as well as a few more live performances...until then...keep fightin' the good fight, kids.

Mixing our record starts tomorrow morning at Sanctuary Sound in Red Bank, NJ! Can't wait! 10 songs filled with passion, pain, grit, grind, and love: what else do you need? I'll keep you updated on here as we go...We have some ideas for artwork for the record going, and the mind melding among us has begun. Looking into some vinyl for you guys, too. It HAS to be, yes, yes?

3/31/12:

Well, kids, it's that time: mixing the record! Red Bank, NJ all week after an acoustic rehearsal Monday night for our show at Puck in Doylestown this coming Saturday, April 7th. We've added a few shows - and will be adding some more - over the next week. Shows in PA, NJ, and DE (in that order!) between April 7th and April 15th. We're so close...a couple more weeks and the record will be finished mixing! Next: PREORDERS. And we will be offering you something VERY special with your preorder of our new record. Here's a hint: many songs didn't make the record, but they are all near and dear to our hearts, and we did record them. AND, there's many songs you guys ask us to play live...covers, oldies from the Soraia archives...these goodies will be making a reappearance to you during preorder time. So stay tuned in as the completion of a project that grew us to be even more Soraia-like than we already were - comes to an end.

Happy March! We're excited to tell you we've spent the last few weeks traveling, meeting, planning., rehearsing, taking pics, and -of course - writing (songs, and some poetry, too). Happy, happy, happy that the record's just ready for mixing in a week or two, and have a few shows coming up and some more are in the works, too. Please do gather up your things and come out to our March 9th return to The Legendery Dobb's on South Street in Philadelphia, PA...it's gonna be a big one, I can feel it. GREAT night in the studio last night! Went to Red Bank, NJ to get some guitar tracks done on a few songs with Bobby Bandiera. We got three tracks done and they are sounding AMAZING. The sound of the record is meshing with the vision, which is - of course - any artist's dream. Here's to more great studio days like that...and we'll keep you updated. In the meantime, adding a few more songs to the record, and playing next Thursday night at Dobb's in Philly. Check our "Tour" link for details....Also, please join our Soraia Street Team on Facebook. Recently, they're posting lyrics I've composed that aren't currently in any songs, but ideas and single lines - and I'd like your feedback. So g'on over and get to writing with me!!!!
